What Personal Data Do We Collect About You?
- We will collect any information you provide to us when you use our contact forms (for example “Email me, Let’s get to work.”). How And why we use your personal data?
- We use your personal data to match your skills, experience, and education with an assignment we are running. We will collect basic information on you, such as contact details, professional experience and pass this onto the client. If you are chosen by the client to go through to the shortlist stage, we will collect more information from you (reasons for moving jobs, personal circumstances, your motivations for wanting a new role) for our client to assess your suitability.
- We may also use your personal data to invite you to events run by Aries Employment Solutions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we don’t share it except as necessary to provide our services. We may need to share your information with our clients for them to assess your suitability, the Department For Work & Pensions and some of our service providers (for instance, our IT provider) may store or otherwise use your information on our instructions (in which case we will have a contract in place with them to protect your information).
- If you are a referee, we use your information to contact you about a candidate and obtain a reference for them.
Where do we collect your personal data from?
We receive personal data about candidates from other sources. Depending on the relevant circumstances, applicable local laws and requirements, this will involve personal data received in the following situations:
- An agent/third party acting on your behalf.
- Through publicly available sources such as Linkedin & Google.
- By reference or word of mouth. For example, you may be recommended by a friend, a former employer colleague or even a present employer.

- To send to you other information – such as Aries upcoming events or newsletters – that may be of interest to you.

This mainly takes place in the context of new IT systems and processes so that information about you may be used in the testing of those new IT systems and processes where dummy data cannot fully replicate the operation of the new IT system.

You may make such a request at any time and Adecco will evaluate if your request should be granted, however this right is subject to any legal rights or obligations we may have to retain data. For situations where in accordance with the law, we determine that your request to have your personal information deleted must be granted, Adecco will do so without undue delay.
- Right to restrict or object to the processing of your data: In certain circumstances you have the right to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal information, or to object on certain processing thereof on grounds relating to your situation.
Please note if you do not provide data necessary or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data, we may not be able to match you with potential roles.

how long do we keep your personal data for?
We will only retain your information for as long as is necessary for us to use your information as described above or to comply with our legal obligations. However, we may retain some of your information after you cease to use our services, if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to meet our legal obligations, such as retaining the information for tax and accounting purposes.
When determining the relevant retention periods, we will consider factors including:
